Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the AFTR. mobile application ("the App") and the AFTR. website (aftr.dev) ("the Website"), operated by CloutLabs LLC. It describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information You Provide
When you contact us for support or feedback, you may provide your email address and any details you include in your message. We use this only to respond to you and do not use it for marketing unless you have opted in.
Information Collected Automatically
App
We may collect minimal, anonymized data to improve the app, such as:
- Crash reports and performance data
- General usage statistics (e.g. feature usage), where enabled
No personal information or photo data is included. If we use analytics (e.g. PostHog), it is configured to be privacy-friendly and anonymized.
Website
Visiting the Website may result in standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) held by our hosting provider. We do not use cookies or tracking for advertising. Any analytics on the Website would be minimal and anonymized.
Photos and On-Device Storage
Your photos never leave your device
All progress photos you take or import in the App are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers or any cloud service we control. We cannot see, access, or recover your photos. Exports (e.g. side-by-side images or videos) are generated on your device and shared only when you choose to share them (e.g. via your device's share sheet to social apps or camera roll).
Sharing and Exports
Any sharing of exported content is done by you through your device (e.g. saving to camera roll or sharing to third-party apps). We do not receive or store the content you export. Those third-party services have their own privacy policies.
Service Providers
- Apple / Google: The App Store and Google Play handle downloads, updates, and payment processing for AFTR. Pro subscriptions. Their privacy policies apply to those interactions.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (e.g. whether you have an active Pro subscription). RevenueCat receives purchase-related data from Apple/Google to verify status. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Hosting: The Website may be hosted by a third party (e.g. Vercel or similar). That provider may hold server logs as described above.
Data Retention and Deletion
Photos and app data live only on your device. Deleting photos in the App or uninstalling the App removes that data from the device; we do not retain copies. Support emails may be kept for a reasonable period to handle follow-up, then deleted. Server logs may be retained for a limited time for security and operations.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received such information, please contact us at hello@aftr.dev and we will take steps to delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we process (e.g. support correspondence, subscription status). Your photos are protected by your device's security (e.g. passcode, biometrics). We recommend keeping your device and OS updated.
Your Rights
You have control over your data: delete photos in the App or uninstall to remove app data. You may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold (e.g. support emails) by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App or Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
